Even Jace.

Review/My Thoughts:
City of Fallen Angels is the 4th book in the Mortal Instrument Series.
I don't know what to say about this book (in a good way). I enjoyed this book as I did with the previous TMI novels. Though while this book was suppose to be orignally a trilogy, it's instead an on-going series. Which is fine with me because I can read as much of these series as possible.

What I liked:
* We get to know more about Simon as a Daylighter-a vampire who can withstand sunlight as well as his burden bearing the Mark of Cain.
-whoever attacks Simon will be destroyed into crystals of salt (pretty cool,I think.)
*Introduction to the new characters: Kyle, and Camille (*Spoiler!*) Who was, in Magnus Bane's previous life, his girlfriend
-I...was so freaked out and shocked. Wow, I never would have figured that out.
*Sebastian: He's baccck! Well, he's back , but not alive. But dead. Which is still something! He's still in the story. Which I don't mind.
*Jace and Sebastian-Oh. My. God. They are BONDED together!!!
*How this book was *mostly* about Simon
-It was perfectly fine because I sort of liked Simon so I thought it was a little breather to have some story time for Simon than Clary

What I didn't like:
*Alec and Magnus fighting
-Alec has some issues and problems he needs to get over because ever since he learned about a bit of Magnus's previous love life, he's starts to get all suspicious and jealous over everything Magnus does or who he talks to. I kept thinking that something bad was going to happen between the two if Alec kept up that jealous attitude.

Conclusion:
I thought this book was great. It was interesting, a bit frustrating at the same time, and still good no doubt. It's slow and boring at some parts where I either skimmed or flipped pages through, but it's bearable.
I would stil recommend this book as well as the previous Mortal Instrument books. But if you're a fan of Cassandra Clare's previous book, you'll want to pick this up.
I will say that reading this, I WILL read the next book in the series, City of Lost Souls.

4.4/5 Stars
